Green Beans
1 pound tender fresh green beans, trimmed
salt
In a medium saucepan, add beans and 1 cup of water. Cook covered on high heat until beans are just tender and have just lost the raw taste. I check for doneness by taking out a bean and eating it. Drain out any water remaining. Sprinkle lightly with salt. Cover pan and keep warm until serving.
