Braised Tomatoes with Fresh Herbs
This is a deliciously beautiful garnish to
use on any plate when your cherry tomatoes are plentiful. Garnish with
a bit of whole fresh herb used in the mixture.
20 cherry tomatoes
¼ cup fresh herbs, minced mixture
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
In a medium size skillet, melt butter and add
whole tomatoes. Heat slowly and cook until one tomato releases it juices;
remove from heat. Sprinkle with kosher salt and fresh herbs. Shake pan
and allow to sit for a few minutes before serving.
