Preserving The Harvest

Pan Bagnats (Stuffed Sandwiches)
I like to use individual round rolls of French bread with I get at Foods of All Nations) The meal is pretty much self contained in one serving.
12 round French rolls
12 teaspoons olive oil
24 thin slices of white cheese (your choice, I use Fontina)
24 thin slices of ham (your choice, I use Kite)
24 thin slices of oven roasted turkey
12 pieces of roasted pepper
5 cups iceberg lettuce, shredded
12 teaspoons muffalatta spread (olive salad, found in a jar in Foods of All Nations)

Remove a quarter of the roll and hollow out the inside and inside of the top. Rub 1 teaspoon olive over the inside surface of the bread. Line with cheese, followed by ham and turkey, allow overage to stick out of the top; maintaining the image of the inside of a bowl on the inside. Add roasted pepper, lettuce and a teaspoon of muffalatta spread. Fold over meats and cheese and place top on. All to marinate for several hours befor serving.
