Green Rice
2 cups whole grain rice
1 cup chopped fresh herbs of your choosing
zest of one lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook rice according to package directions.
Fluff rice and add fresh herbs, zest, salt and pepper. Cover and allow
to set for 10 minutes or until ready to serve.
Herb combinations I have used: chervil,
sorrel, chive
Lemon mint, chervil, chive
Basil, oregano, thyme
