Pork Fried Rice
(20 minutes)
1 inch fresh ginger, minced
1 garlic clove minced
1/2 cup celery, sliced
10 mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup onion , diced
1 cup green peas
8 ounces canned bamboo shoots
2 cups cooked rice
1 1/2 cups pork, finely diced
1 egg
4 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons sherry
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon peanut oil
In a hot wok add oil and vegetables in
the order listed. Add meat and rice. Combine egg and remaining ingredients;
drizzle over food in wok and cook stirring for 6 to 8 minutes. Serve
immediately garnished with sliced green onions and crushed unsalted
peanuts.
