Preserving The Harvest

Devilish Hash (30 minutes)
1 1/2 cups cooked pork(beef, corned beef or turkey)
1 cup raw potatoes
1/2 cup onion, peeled and diced.
Heat skillet and add 1 tablespoon cooking oil. Turn mixture into hot skillet, cook on medium low until crust forms. Add salt and pepper and a dash of cayenne (optional). Turn hash in large sections to brown thoroughly; add 2 or 3 teaspoons steak sauce or hot sauce to your taste. This takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Now press hash down to form an unbroken cake and cook 10 minutes more. Turn onto a warm platter, cut into wedges and serve.
