Baked Ham
Remove ham from package, check weight, rinse in cold water, dry and rub with black pepper. Place in a roasting pan and pour in 1 can (12 ounces) of beer, coke, juice or water. Cover and roast at 325 degrees for 15 minutes to the pound. Remove from over and set aside. In a saute pan add 1/4 cup of cooking juices and bring to a boil, reduce by 1/2. Lower temperature to simmer; add 1 teaspoon cold butter for each 1/4 cup and emulsify in the simmering juice to make a sauce. Slice ham and dress with sauce. Serve warm.
