Plugged Watermelon Cut a 3-inch plug from a watermelon and reserve it. Pour rum or vodka into the melon, a little at a time, until the melon can no longer absorb the liquor. Place plug back into place. Seal the plug with a piece of tape. Store in a cool place several hours; overnight is better. Slice and serve or spoon into tall glasses, add a dash of lime juice, and an ice tea spoon. Garnish with mint.
