Hot Mulled Cider
1/2 gallon apple cider
2 oranges, sliced
1 lemon, seeded and sliced
2 tablespoons whole cloves
3 cinnamon sticks
6 cardamom pods
1 cup Apple Jack, optional
Simmer all ingredients in a saucepan
until ready to serve. Strain and reserve sliced fruit for serving. Pour
Cider into large earthenware pitcher and add fruit slices. Pour into
glass mugs.
