Strawberries Dipped in Chocolate
Large strawberries with stems make the most
dramatic presentation. Serve at room temperature alone or use to garnish
sorbet, shortcake or ice cream-strawberry of course.
Serves 6
1 dozen dramatic strawberries with stems
4 ounces bittersweet chocolate
1 ounce cream
Wash and dry berries, heat cream and stir in
chocolate until smooth. Dip three-quarters of the berry into the chocolate
and place on a chilled dry plate for the chocolate to set, refrigerate
only if necessary. Serve at room temperature.
