Berry Crisp
4 cups fresh berries, whole or 1 inch chunks
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/16 teaspoon salt
¼ cup granulated sugar
Toss together and put in 9-inch square baking dish.
½ cup brown sugar, packed
½ cup flour
½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
¼ cup vegetable oil or butter
Combine these ingredients until mixture
is crumbly and sprinkle over fruit. Bake in 350 degree preheated oven
35 to 40 minutes until fruit is tender and juices have thickened, 30
- 40 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature, plain, with whipped
cream or crème fraiche.
