Quiche Loraine
1 single pie crust, pre-baked (use pastry recipe for single pie crust or buy pie crust)
4 ounces chopped ham
1 tablespoon butter
1 medium onion, sliced
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
dash of nutmeg
1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
1 tablespoon flour

Prepare pastry. Saute onions in butter until tender;
add onions and ham to the bottom of pre-baked pastry crust.
Combine eggs, milk, salt, nutmeg.
Toss cheese in flour and add to pastry dish.
Pour egg mixture into pastry shell and bake
in 325 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
