Fruit Kebabs

Fun to make and serve with kids

2 cups fresh pineapple, cubed
1 cup honeydew, cubed
1 cup cantaloupe, cubed
2 cups tart apples cubed
2 cups orange sections
1 cup strawberries capped
1 cup Bing cherries, pitted
Marinade:
2 cups water
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
2 tea bags
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Boil water and steep tea and mint for 5 minutes .Add honey and balsamic vinegar and cool. Strain over fruit, chill in refrigerator until chilled through. Yields 12 cups. Arrange fruit on wooden skewers and pack in rectangular covered container for transport. Keep chilled until served. May be served in bowls or cups or on skewers.
May be brushed with oil and grilled.
