Bran Muffins
1 cup milk
1 beaten egg
1 cup bran
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 teapsoon salt
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Combine eggs and milk, soak bran in mixture for 10 minutes. Butter muffin pans. Add flour, baking powder sugar and salt to bran mixture and pour in melted butter. Stir just enough to combine. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into muffin comes out clean.
